of This World\"!

\"MY ALIEN PENFRIEND\" (ISBN-10: 1420858602) by earthling author Faiz Kermani is an
\'Out of This World\" novel that immediately rockets this book into a galaxy ahead of
other stories/publications and printed material on the shelves of Earth\'s libraries
and bookstores this century. Author Faiz, says he, \"grew up in the days of the
Apollo missions and Star Wars movies so I absolutely love everything to do with
space and science fiction. I find the idea of space exploration very exciting and so
it appears in my writing.\" In \"MY ALIEN PENFRIEND\" the author says, \"I wanted to
create a story that combined the themes of friendship and cultural differences with
my love of science fiction. However, I think humor is very important and I wanted to
blend that in as well.\"

\"MY ALIEN PENFRIEND\" is a universal tale of two children living on opposite sides of
the galaxy, one earthling, (Darius) and one extraterrestrial (Zmod), who
communicate, thru \"SpaceMail\" and forge a timeless relationship/friendship. Their
interest in one another\'s planets becomes the thread of the plot which is eclipsed
only by a terrible force that puts them in danger, yet together they discover the
meaning of friendship. \"MY ALIEN PENFRIEND\" is written in a unique style of letters
between Darius and Zmod, with an occasional newspaper article from both worlds. What
a delight to read such an imaginative story about two boys that are similar, despite
their different worlds. The author says, \"Darius is more sure of himself than Zmod
and takes their friendship for granted at first, but over time he realizes how lucky
he is. Zmod values having an alien penpal much more, as he is in a more distant part
of the universe and it\'s a means to finding out what's out there. He confides a lot
in Darius and appreciates his support. Darius also helps him to take life a little
less seriously. I think they both learn to appreciate that cultural differences do
not stand in the way of friendship and that in fact they can enhance it.\"

It is a personal gratification that Earth people will finally know about \"SpaceMail\"
which the rest of the galaxy has forever known and used for communication. Author
Faiz describes \"SpaceMail\" best when he says, \"Spacemail is basically a form of
electronic communication that allows you to send messages to aliens on different
planets and for them to reply! The technology behind it takes into account that the
messages will need to be sent rapidly to other sides of the universe and will need a
lot of translating! It's the space age version of email!\"

All readers young and old will enjoy \"MY ALIEN PENFRIEND\" - The settings are
remarkably original and form a solid backdrop for the story. Bartoch is more of a
peaceful planet than Earth and so Zmod is quite shocked to read about the various
conflicts on planet Earth. The only continuing problem Bartoch has lurking in the
background is from 'isolationist' terrorists who want contact with other planets to
cease. Bartoch is different than Earth as it has rocks that can move on their own
and the planet has two moons.

\"MY ALIEN PENFRIEND\" sends a strong message to everyone about how important it is to
get along with people who are different to you and taking more interest in what goes
on around you wherever you live. The greatest literary accomplishment for this story
is how well the author balances serious issues with lots of humor. \"MY ALIEN
PENFRIEND\" defies all gravity and is a book for the entire universe to read and love
from one generation to the next. I enjoyed \"MY ALIEN PENFRIEND\" immensely and I\'m
more than confident you will as well.
